Without published, public, open API's from companies like Amazon, Ebay, Yahoo and Microsoft this website would not be possible. Because of this I am determined to provide a dynamic and fully featured API for public use so that others may take what I have done and build upon it.
Currently this site offers several RSS feeds that you can incorporate into projects for your own use. I also offer "flair" that you can add to your blog or web site that will show either an image with a link to your wishlist or a dynamic view of some items in your wishlist. These "gadgets" are currently available in javascript, IFrame and plain image formats. Click on the Flair item in the menu for additional information (you must be logged in to access Flair).
In the future I plan to add additional RSS feeds and to publish a thorough API that will allow members to pull their entire wishlist as well as add/edit/delete items in their wishlist. Additionally I will make available web services for querying aggregate wishlist and wishlist item data. Please stay tuned these tools are coming soon.
